Description:

We are currently hiring for a 6 month temporary role to support the current Banking / Finance team. This position will be based at 811 Islington Avenue, Toronto.

Responsibilities:

  • Completion of the monthly bank and other G/L reconciliations

  • Investigate any variances and proactively follow-up with related parties

  • Act as a liaison between Aramark and various banks plus payment processing companies

  • Communicate with the banks and operators to resolve any problems that may occur

  • Provide support to our US counterparts

  • Assist in the completion of various banking related projects

  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • University or College Education preferably in accounting and finance

  • 2 to 3 years of related experience and/or enrollment in accounting/business program

  • Strong computer skills

  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Bank reconciliation experience preferred

  • Good understanding of Basic Accounting Principles

  • Able to handle and manipulate large volume of numeric data

  • Self starter that can work with minimal supervision

  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
