The Conference Service Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative duties and various support tasks to the Conference Services Team as a whole. This includes the processing of event reservations, supplies inventory & management, activity and metrics reporting, etc. Essential functions may include:

  • Ability to utilize reservations system to book meetings, pull reports and distribute confirmations

  • Know meeting room set up and AV requirements; be aware of all meeting room capabilities within supported facilities

  • Support event planners in details for set ups, meal arrangements, and any other special needs

  • Partner with other operating vendors/departments to ensure smooth service delivery

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated skill in juggling multiple competing tasks and demands

  • Exceptional time management, follow up and attention to detail

  • Knows property layout, policies, procedures and capabilities

  • Analyze, anticipate and solve problems

  • Ensures that event requirements are met while group is on property

  • Respond to customer inquiries that may include, but are not limited to AV assistance, supplies needs, directions, room booking, etc.

  • Perform other duties related to conference services as required


  • Degree in Hospitality or other related field is preferred.

  • The ideal candidate will have previous conference or event support experience.

  • Must have strong customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Must have interpersonal skills to interact with customers on a daily basis.

  • Must be able to work independently as well as function as a team member.

  • Computer skills required, previous experience with reservation software is preferred.
