ARAMARK Remote - Technical Mobile Application Lead in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Description

Recognized as a leader in the design and execution of business solutions, demonstrating a broad understanding of the applications and technical architectures. Demonstrates expert understanding of applications development processes, serving as a resource to others. Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of leading edge technologies and plans for the future of a technology and/or applications area. Evaluates the applicability of leading edge technologies and uses this information to significantly influence future IT and/or business strategy. Brings technical and/or business systems knowledge from external sources and incoporates those ideas into IT.

Demonstrates an understanding of the changing business needs for the line-of-business supported and the impact these changes have on their service area. Advises clients on business problems, formulates options including assessing their relative merits and risks and works with clients to determine the best solution. Builds and maintains up-to-date knowledge about ARAMARK?s processes, strategies and industry trends to ensure efficient and timely provision of services. Leverages solutions to and from other lines of business and shares best practices.

ARAMARK is seeking an IT Project Lead of Information Technology with mobile experience to lead technical development of an innovative group developing mobile applications for our food operations. This position will be responsible for designing, developing and managing projects that include coordiation of multiple IT disciplines with a primary focus on innovating the mobile application experience to support our front line operations with their day-to-day activities. Responsible for execution of planned feature development, technical design and architecture and providing ideation around solutions that drive results. Leads internal and 3rd party development team(s) engaged in an Agile process that maintains close alignment with functional and lifecycle team leaders. This candidate should demonstrate a thorough understanding of requirement specification, design, coding, testing and support of information systems and should have previous experience working with off-shore development projects. Strong understanding and competence in designing and delivering mobile solutions and experience providing a highly responsive UX end user experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plans, tests, debugs, documents, implements, and maintains programs in an environment of diverse development platforms, computing environments, hardware, software, technology tools, etc. Coordinates activities with other IT organizations (e.g. database, telecommunications, operations, technical support, etc.) Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.

  • Builds systems consistent with enterprise architecture requirements and defined SDLC. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and SME?s to understand system requirements. Identifies risks, evaluates options and translates them into a functioning solution. Adheres to the team?s Agile methodology and captures project artifacts in Dev Ops.

SCOPE: Describe the reporting relationships, special skills and abilities required to perform essential job functions.

Acts as a project leader, ?lead? or ?senior? role over positions performing essential the same or related work. Reports to the IT Sr. Director.

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of IT development and lead/management experience

  • Bachelor?s Degree in a business discipline or in Computer Science or similar discipline

  • 3+ years of mobile application development experience

  • React Native or other similar mobile development technologies (Android/iOS)

  • Knowledge of TSQL ? MSSQL Server ? advanced SQL syntax, schema design, T-SQL and Stored Procedures

  • API / Web Service development and RESTful integrations

  • DevOps ? Source and Agile project management

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent technical training.
