Leadership – Trusted advisor and advocate on the President’s senior leadership team as a functional leader. Provide guidance and direction to the business unit to align the enterprise IT strategy with the needs of the business unit. Ensuring their AOP business goals with key pieces the IT enterprise strategy that fit in their portfolio of business.
Client Relationship – Engage the business unit market to understand business sector strategies and the role the business plays in the in Aramark portfolio. Provide guidance on IT enterprise strategies against the business portfolios with investment levels. Engage Aramark clients directly to educate on our overall strategy to enhance consumer and client experiences.
Financial Performance – Provide transparency across the business as it pertains to IT investments, enterprise initiatives and key leading indicators to ensure that LOB leaders and RVPs are seeing the ROI on their IT investments. Advise senior business leaders on IT capabilities to drive revenue and operating efficiencies.
Compliance – Ensure the business unit IT team is educating and advising on IT program compliance as well as engaging our clients to discuss our compliance strategies and future roadmaps. Advocate for our customers and clients to ensure we operate with industry standard security practices.
Productivity – Align IT enterprise strategies against business productivity programs to assist in our margin expansion. Educate senior business leaders on other LOB productivity activates that could be leveraged within their businesses.
Align the Aramark business portfolio and the IT enterprise agenda ensuring business leaders are engaged on the vision, strategy and execution.
Create a client centric approach to the business by developing a high performing business relationships that are constantly proving innovative IT solutions to business agendas to drive profitable growth and enhancing business margin.
Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current and evolving technologies and prices. Advise, counsel, and educate senior level executives on IT vision and strategy.
Facilitate the interaction between the appropriate consultative, delivery and operational technical expertise to define, deliver and operate the business results.
Develop and enhance relationships with key business stakeholders, actively manage their expectations & monitor satisfaction levels.
Travel for the job expected 40% of the time.
Experience – 10-15 years’ experience in a large, complex enterprise environment.
Education – Bachelor’s degree required; technical focus preferred.
Impact – Experience leading a COE or business function for a large enterprise. Leading IT overall for a company outside the fortune 1000.
Complexity - Complete understanding of the services in our business portfolio as well as how technology enables growth and margin expansion. 10+ years in a large complex enterprise business structure that offers a portfolio of businesses.
Communication – Ability to present and interface with the top levels of a large complex organization. 2-3+ years in role that handles communication to clients and senior executives.
Knowledge – Understand financial models, contract types, business portfolio structure and complexities that arise from a client focused organization.
Leadership – Ability to lead a team of distributed IT leaders aligning business goals with the overall Aramark IT vision.
Judgement – Ability to make IT business decisions that balance risk and benefit both on customer, clients and Aramark shareholders.
