Job Description

The HVAC Maintenance Worker is responsible for the operation, repair, maintenance, and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Must hold HVACR License for the state of NJ

Job Responsibilities

• • Troubleshoot heating and cooling issues within the buildings.-Perform repair and preventative maintenance per manufactures specs on all HVAC controls, AHU's RTU's, Chillers, Boilers, exhaust fans and all other HVAC equip.-Remove, replace and adjust heating and cooling & energy controls.- Minor repair to pneumatic controls.- Complete check of each unit's ability to respond to heating and cooling requests.- Replace and maintain compressors, unit ventilators and air handlers.-Provide written report on overall condition of each piece of equipment and recommend repairs/improvements.- Complete lubrication of moving parts per manufactures specs.- Clean or replace all filters (HVAC) per manufactures specs- Complete check of all units for gas leaks.- Amperage level checks on all motors to confirm functionality- Inspect and repair electrical connections as needed.- Inspect, adjust, align and replace belts as needed.- Inspect and confirm proper operations of all condensation and circulatory pumps.- Troubleshoot and make minor boiler & furnace repairs.- Conduct combustion analysis on the boilers.- Winterize and de-winterize all cooling towers.- Replace, repair, service and maintain pumps & motors.

• HVAC Certification preferred

• Previous HVAC experience required

• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
