ARAMARK Operations Finance Analyst - Yosemite - Accounting & IT in Fresno, California

Job Description

Based in Fresno, CA; the Operation Finance Analyst is responsible for maintaining and executing various accounting processes and functions for multiple sites, at a unit and regional level. This position will also be completing various tasks to monitor the financial health of our operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, including our internal key controls.

COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position ranges from $65,000-75,000 depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if applicable to the position). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Highly collaborative support lead for all accounts in the Fresno office, with a focus on Yosemite.

  • Ensures the timely transmission of weekly financial results.

  • Working closely with our various POS systems and their reporting capabilities

  • Financial planning and analysis: create monthly forecasts/budget by venue

  • Accounting support for Cash and Banking, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Capital Expenditures

  • Tax monitoring

  • Weekly/Monthly reporting ? including analyzing and communicating to the field and regional teams

  • Audits/Contract Compliance ? including Cash, Accounts Payable, SOX and working with internal and external auditors

  • Maintain all financial records and reports in adherence with Aramark?s Business Conduct Policy and all local, state, and federal regulations and codes

  • Train and develop field operations teams on financial acumen and policies

  • Support with annual budgets

  • Performs other related duties as directed by Senior Controller and Regional Finance Manager

Qualifications

  • Associates degree required, preferably in accounting, banking or finance

  • Minimum of (3) three years finance experience in general ledger accounting, financial controls, reporting/analysis, and exposure to AR processes

  • A strong knowledge of GAAP accounting and reporting is required

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical skills,

  • Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel

  • PC/POS based systems knowledge of GFF, SMS, Micros, and Retail Pro is preferred

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Some travel may be required (<5% anticipated)
