ARAMARK Night Auditor - Denali Park Village in Denali, Alaska

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Night Auditor to join our seasonal team. The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and the smooth operation of the hotel during the overnight hours. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Employment dates are May through Mid-September. Overnight hours are 10pm to 6am.

6.2 million acres of Denali National Park & Preserve is home to Mount Denali, the highest point in North America. The park welcomes over half a million visitors per year. By road, the area is 5 hours from Anchorage and 2 hours from Fairbanks. Buses traverse the 90-mile road daily throughout the warm summer months, allowing people to hike, view wildlife, climb, and camp.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities:

  • Conduct nightly audits of the hotel's financial transactions, including guest folios, cash receipts, and credit card transactions.

  • Verify the accuracy of postings and reconcile any discrepancies in guest accounts.

  • Prepare and distribute daily reports to management, highlighting any variances or irregularities.

  • Prepare key packets, vouchers and program keys for next day arrivals.

  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns during the overnight hours, providing exceptional customer service.

  • Assist with the check-in and check-out process for late-arriving or early-departing guests.

  • Ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises.

  • Perform routine maintenance checks and address any issues that arise during the night.

  • Process reservations and maintain accurate records of room availability.

  • Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless transition between shifts.

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.

Qualifications

  • Previous guest services experience required.

  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.

  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.

  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Demonstrate organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
