Job Description

Developed and built by Notes Live, the Sunset Amphitheater is an 8,000-capacity, state-of-the-art venue right in the heart of the Polaris Pointe development in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Culinary Supervisor is responsible for the oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the food service operation such as inventory, customer service, food preparation, and food safety and sanitation procedures Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $24. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Schedules and assigns daily work assignments to a food service team and oversees the completion of tasks

  • Responsible for ordering, receiving and processing food and catering orders

  • Work with clients and tours to prepare caterings which may include costing, menu creation and setting for events

  • Trains and guides staff on job duties, proper food safety and sanitation procedures, customer service, etc.

  • Prepares and builds food items according to standardized recipes and directions

  • Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures

  • Sets up work stations including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.

  • Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes work stations

  • Serves food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating the customers? needs

  • Replenishes food items and ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels

  • Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co- workers, etc.

  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation

  • Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older (Required)

  • Previous supervisory experience in a related role preferred

  • Previous food service experience required

  • Must be able to obtain food safety certification

  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision

  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills

  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs

This role will have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of PPE. This role also may be outside so may be exposed to sun and other inclement weather.
